Reflections WEEK 7

Surveymonkey has been a great discovery. Having a background in social policy research I may exploit all my knowledge on how to make appropriate questions to create a questionnaire in such programme.  In the past I have used more complicated type of software to design an analyse researches and so, this website provides us a simple opportunity of creating useful questionnaire in our teaching professional practise.
Nonetheless, this application is an example of how important is to know what is behind particular software learnt during this subject. From my own experience, I am aware of all work and training required to carry out a well constructed questionnaire and how little details can completely change the outcome. So, this highlights the importance of reflecting and knowing what we are doing with any particular software; what are we trying to achieve?

The very last class of this course we dedicated time to Edmodo platform, which is a free educational platform. In common with other educational platforms, Edmodo allows to create class groups, assignments, tests, upload material, calendar, announcements, alerts... Nowadays, this is a very useful tool when carrying out a course which contributes to organisational purpose of the subject. Some of my colleagues in education use Google Drive for such aim and being experts as they are, believe Google Drive provides all you require your class management. Personally, I have worked with Moodle application and as I have previously said here, I would prefer to deep my knowledge in such application rather than learning more about Edmodo. As far as I am concerned, all these applications are great to their maximum potential, so I better learn more in depth than many superficially. In this case, choose to deep my knowledge in Moodle platform.
